Sample Itinerary:
Day One:

• Round trip shuttle from Barcelona International Airport to hotel.

  Round-Trip airport transfer from Barcelona International Airpot to Hotel and 2 PM check-in to hotel.

• Lunch at hotel.

• Team training at 3 PM.

• Barcelona City Sights Bike Tour at 5 PM:

  Discover Barcelona through a 3 hours bike tour. Let experienced and dedicated tour guides show you the interesting sights, take you to the hidden corners and tell you about their secrets.

  This is an ideal tour for young and old that sticks entirely to bike lanes, pedestrian paths, and parks and gardens. Admire the famous Sagrada Familia designed by Antonia Gaudi and explore the picturesque Art Nouveau district of Eixample. Here you can admire the beautiful private houses Casa Mila and Casa Batllo. You then continue on to the city center on both sides of La Rambla. See the international Raval and visit the Gothic center and the old Jewish quarter around the cathedral.

  After admiring so much stone, you finally head to the water. Admire the fantastic views of the sea and ride along the picturesque beach promenade to the Olympic Harbor. Nearby are the Parc de la Ciutadella and the entrance to the first World Fair: the Arc de Triomf. Tour includes a guided tour (for approximately 3 hours), bicycle rental, handlebar bag, helmet and child seat upon request.

Day Two:

• Breakfast at hotel at 8 AM.

• Sagrada Familia Guided Tour with Tower Access at 9 AM.

  Take a guided tour of La Sagrada Familia cathedral with an expert guide, and marvel at Barcelona’s most iconic landmark in the soft light of the morning.

  On this tour you’ll admire the artwork of Gaudi. Striking for its architectural features and art, the Sagrada Familia is legendary. It was the all-consuming obsession of the modernist architect, Antoni Gaudi. His work on the building began in 1882 and remains unfinished.

  During the tour your guide will point out the contrasting nativity and passion façades. You’ll also learn about the symbolism and representations of the Holy Family as an expression of Christian ideology, constructed in stone. Note the Christian iconography as you hear about the history of the church.

  See the angled pillars sprouting like a web of tree branches, holding up the roof. Below the ground is the Museu Gaudi, where you’ll find documentation about Gaudi’s life and work.

  There is also a crypt where masses are held, and a viewing platform above the burial site of the architect. Tour includes skip-the-line admission ticket, tour with an expert guide, access to one of the Towers of the Sagrada Familia.

• Camp Nou Experience: F.C. Barcelona Museum and Tour at 2 PM.

• Picasso Walking Tour & Picasso Museum of Barcelona (3 PM).

  Be immersed in the world of Picasso as you discover Bohemian Barcelona on this 2-hour walking tour. Explore the neighborhood where Pablo Picasso lived, imagining it at the turn of the last century.

  Learn about the history of this famous, eccentric Spanish painter as your guide tells you anecdotes about Picasso’s friends and the events that influenced his life and artistic career. Visit Els Quatre Gats restaurant, the meeting place of intellectuals in Picasso’s time. Admire the friezes on the façade of the Architects’ Association building, Picasso’s only piece of public art.

  See the Llotja de Mar, the art school where he studied, and the museum housing the most important collection from Picasso’s youth and formative years. During the 2nd hour of your tour, you will be guided through the Museu Picasso. See the world’s most important collection of works from Picasso’s youth and formative years, showcasing the evolution of his style from the more classical towards the his invention of Cubism.

  Set in a historic mansion, the Picasso Museu is near the site of Picasso’s last studio before he left the city for Paris. Highlights of the museum also include some of his later works, such as a series of interpretations of Velázquez’s Las Meninas dating from 1957, as well as ceramics and engravings.

• Dinner after game.

Day Five:

• Breakfast at hotel at 8 AM.

• Team training at 10 AM.

• Lunch and Free time at Barceloneta Beach.

• Watch a professional football match*

  Saturday only depending on league schedule.* Possible teams are FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol.

• Check out of hotel in Barcelona and transportation to Barcelona International Airport.
