Round trip private airport transfer from Reykjavik International Airpot to Hotel and 2 PM check-in to hotel.

  • Reykjavik walk with a Viking Tour

This walking tour is your introduction to Reykjavik. It will help you get your bearings and make the most of your stay in Iceland. Your guide will be your friend in the city with the goal to make sure you have the best time while in Reykjavik. This family friendly tour brings the history of Iceland to life with interesting stories and Icelandic mythology. You’ll visit all of the famous landmarks in the city center such as Harpa concert hall, Hallgrímskirkja Church (your guide will teach you how to pronounce that) and the Reykjavik pond. Your guide will also share hidden, local spots with you; things you’d miss if you didn’t know what to look for. Your guide will show you their favorite places to eat, drink and visit plus insider info on the best happy hour deals, should you be interested. The tour lasts approximately two hours and you’ll walk around 4 kilometers. This is a small-group tour, meaning there will never be more than 12 people on a tour at a time so that your guide can answer all of your questions and you can get to know each other a bit better. The aim of this tour is for you to experience the unique, friendly atmosphere of Reykjavik, not just to see the most popular tourist attractions. You’ll even get a small lesson on the Icelandic language from your guide so that you can not only walk like a viking, but talk like one too.

Day Two:

  • Golden Circle & Blue Lagoon Full-Day Tour at 8:30 AM.

See geysers, waterfalls, volcanic craters and more on this 11-hour Golden Circle tour. Marvel at the Kerid volcanic crater, 270 meters wide and over 55 meters deep. Visit Thingvellir National Park, part of the mid-Atlantic ridge, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Stop to see the Haukadalur and Strokkur geysers as well as Geysir itself, which gives the others their name. Strokkur erupts every 5-10 minutes with a column of water that reaches heights of 20-30 meters. Next, head to Gullfoss, one of the most amazing waterfalls in Iceland. End the day at the Blue Lagoon (Comfort entrance included, Entrance to the Blue Lagoon, Silica mud mask, Use of towel, 1st drink of your choice), for a relaxing time in the geothermal waters.

Day Three:

  • Puffin Watching Boat Tour* at 9:30 AM(April – October only)

Step aboard the Puffin Express for a charming bird-watching adventure led by local experts! After departing from the Old Harbour of Reykjavik, your hour-long tour will take you out into the surrouding Faxaflói Bay, to two nearby islands, Lundey and Akurey. These islands are covered in small hills and slopes and known for their colorful birdlife. Once arriving at the islands, the boat’s engine will be turned off so that you can observe the native birds and beautiful surroundings. A licensed, English-speaking guide will provide details and answer questions about the Puffins, as well as other birds you will likely see, such as Northern Fulmars, Gulls, Arctic Terns, and Black Guillemots. All of this takes place on an old wooden boat, Skúlaskeið, which is fondly referred to as “Old Skuli.” It is spacious enough to hold 33 passengers but not too big, in order to ensure that your tour is personal and comfortable.

  • Perlan – Wonders of Iceland Tour* (November – March only)

Perlan is an iconic glass dome building sitting on the highest hill in Reykjavík. In Perlan you can visit an exquisite exhibition where you can learn about the wonders of Icelandic nature and experience them in a unique and unforgettable way. Visitors will feel the power of volcanoes, earthquakes and geothermal energy and see a 10 m high realistically rendered bird cliff, rich with bird and plant specimens. They will experience oceanic wonders and watch as whales swim below their feet. Walk through a 100-meter-long real Ice Cave, the first of its kind in the world and learn about Icelandic glaciers, their bleak future and the effects of global warming in an amazing interactive exhibition. Visitors can see, feel, and live Iceland’s many natural wonders all in one place. A perfect first stop on the trip to Iceland that is suitable for all ages. On the fourth floor of Perlan, a large observation deck lies on the top of the hot water tanks and encircles the entire dome to give an amazing 360° view of Reykjavík and the surrounding area. Access to the observation deck is included in the Wonders of Iceland Exhibition ticket. Following the visit to Wonders of Iceland and the observation deck, guests can buy souvenirs in Rammagerðin, one of the oldest gift shops in Iceland located on the fourth floor. On the fifth-floor guests can enjoy amazing cuisine and incredible view to all direction at Út í bláinn restaurant and Kaffitar Cafe.

  • Watch a professional football match* (April – October only)

Saturday only depending on league schedule (possible teams include Ungmennafélagið Fjölni, Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur and Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar)*.

  • 3-Hour Small-Group Northern Lights Tour* (November – March only)

Far from the city lights, the dark Icelandic night becomes the backdrop for the Aurora Borealis. Marvel at the lights dancing in the sky, where the viewing is best. The Northern Lights appear most frequently from late autumn to early spring, with the weather also a factor. The drive will take in the best viewing spots available. There are no guarantees on the quality of the lights seen on this 3-hour tour. Some weeks, visitors are treated to fantastic displays repeated several times during the evening. At other times, densely falling snow means that the lights aren’t visible. A longer stay in Iceland will certainly improve the odds for taking in this magnificent natural phenomenon.

Tours are offered through SOUL OF SOCCER Travel Agency affiliate GetYourGuide and private airport pick up is through our affiliate Blacklane.
